LARGE AMOUNTS.
INTEREST-FREE LOANS. TWO OF £10,000 EACH. (By Telegraph.—Frees Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednedsay. A total of £1,305,267 has now been offered to the Government as interestfree loane and contributions. To-day's list includes £10,000 from Dominion Motors for the duration of the war and six months afterwards; £10,000 from MoKenzie's Department Stores, Limited, Wellington, for the duration and 12 months afterwards; £2500, from John Oham'bers and Son, Auckland, for the duration; £2000 from the Canterbury Steamehip Company for the duration and six months afterwards; £2000 from the board of directors of G. H. Scales, Wellington, for the duration and 12 months afterwards. Seven contributions of £1000 each for the duration of the war and six or 12 months afterwards are from Abbott, Armstrong and Howey, Auckland; Hallenetein Broe., Dunedin; Andrea and Company, Christchurch; J. R. Taylor, Manutahi; F. E. and E. H. Picot, Wellington; Allen, Son and McClure, Dunedin, and Radford and Company, Wellington.
