YOUNG MAN DROWNED.
(From Our Correspondent.) WELLIXGTOX, Tuesday. A single man, Mr. Harold Robert Wood Knight, aged 26, whose parents live in Mataura, Southland, was drowned at Titahi Bay when four bathers got into difficulties. The other three members of the party, a man and two women, reached the shore after a struggle. One of the women was attended by a doctor. A life-line was taken out "to Mf. Knight, hut he disappeared before the beltmau could reach him.
