J. Corlck (Canterbury). 9—B In the second ronnd. The final will be played later. Women's Single*.—Pinal: A. K. Heard (Wellington) beat V. Raaff (Canterbury), 5—6, 6—3. 6—3. Men's Doubles.—Edwards and Roussell (Wellington) beat Corlck and Souter (Canterbury), 6—3, 2—6. 6—4. Women's Doubles.—M. Murphy and M. Smitbers (Canterbury) beat E. Rlgby and M. J. Lanibourne (Wellington), 6—2, G—3. Wellington won the Centennial trophy with 48 points. Canterbury coining next with 26. Auckland snored only two points, while Otago. Hawkc's Bay. Poverty Bay and West Coast (North Island) failed to score.
