°OX BROS.' DIVIDENDS. INTERIM PAYMENTS UNCHANGED. The director* of Cox Brothers CAustralia i, Limited, traders in drapery, clothing and furniture, have advised the New Zealand Stock Exchange Association, that the half-year ended January 31 was satisfactory in sales and net profits, both of which were above the figures for the corresponding period of the previous year. Interim dividends declared for the halfyear are unchanged at the rate of 7 per cent per annum on the A and B preference shares, and 15 per cent per annum on the ordinary shares on the amount paid up. These dividends absorb £26.836. In February, 1939. the interim dividends absorbed £'22.70.). The distribution will be made on Maxell 30. UNITED PICTURES, LIMITED. INTERIM DIVIDEND OF 6D. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, vhis day. Advice has been received by the New Zealand Stock Exchange Association that the United Pictures Company, Limited, is paying an interim dividend of 0d a chare, less Social Security charge, to all shareholders who are registered as members on February 29, 1940. No dividend was paid by the company last year.
