The director* of Cox Brothers CAustralia i, Limited, traders in drapery, clothing and furniture, have advised the New Zealand Stock Exchange Association, that the half-year ended January 31 was satisfactory in sales and net profits, both of which were above the figures for the corresponding period of the previous year. Interim dividends declared for the halfyear are unchanged at the rate of 7 per cent per annum on the A and B preference shares, and 15 per cent per annum on the ordinary shares on the amount paid up.
