ARCHITECTS' CONFERENCE
POSITION OF AXIBNS. 'ii: _ ( (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The council of the New Zealand Institute of Architects to-<lay discussed the question of admitting aliens to membership of the institute. It was decided that the council should not consider the applications of aliens until they had been granted naturalisation as British subjects and passed the necessary examinations. • .;>.--' , The members of the council were welcomed to Wellington by, the deputyMayor, Mr. Martin Luckie, who said New Zealandere had good cause to be proud of the excellent work, of their architects, who were maintaining a very high standard.
