WEEK-END ACCIDENTS. NO DEATHS REPORTED. Few accidents occurred in the Dominion at the week-end, but most of the mishaps reported were in the Auckland district. There were no deaths, and in no case was anyone critically ii'jured. A fracture of the right leg was suffered by Mr. Thomas Francis O'Connor, widower, aged 76, of 4, Brown's Road, Manurewa, when he fell on the stairs of a city hotel on Saturday night. Falling at his home on Saturday evening, Allan Walker, aged two, son of Mr. S. J. Walker, of Redvale, near Aloany, suffered a fractured thigh. Marjorie Enid Williams, aged 15, twin daughter of Mr. J. B. Williams, of 150, Arthur Street, Onehunga, fell to the ground while playing on a swing at the Onehunga Beach yesterday afternoon, and suffered concussion and an injury to her nose. All three were taken to the Auckland Hospital in St. John ambulances. Their condition is satisfactory. Officer Injured. Second-Lieutenant Garth Ainsworth Dutton, aged 29, stationed at the Papakura military camp, suffered facial injuries when a motor car in which he was a passenger struck a post after swerving off the Great South Road near Takanini yesterday morning. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital. Concussion was suffered by a hotel porter, Mr. Joseph Chesney Bowen, single, ag"ed 49, of 62, Vermont Street, Ponsonby, when he was knocked down ■by a motor car in Ponsonby Road on Saturday night. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital, and was discharged to-day. Fall From Motor Cycle. When she fell from the pillion seat of a motor cycle which skidded in Newton Road on Saturday afternoon, Mrs. Mona May Dudley, aged 28, of 25, Georgina Street, Ponsonby, suffered injuries to her left arm. She was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance, her condition to-day being fair. Waikato Accidents. Thrown from a horse at the Claudelands Showgrounds on Saturday, Miss Irene Bond, aged 19, suffered concussion. She was admitted to the Waikato Hospital, her condition being not serious. ..A Maori woman, Mrs. Rangi Tutahi, aged 20, was also admitted to the Waikato Hospital, following a fall from a horse, as a result of which she suffered a fractured leg.
