WOMEN'S DIVISION.
Kaukapakapa.—The last meeting was well attended by the members of the Kaukapakapa branch of the W.D.F.U. Mra. Naughton presided and welcomed fire. Carr, a visitor from Auckland. Bank .books were opened with a monetary donation from the branch to the following babies: Brian McKay, Valarie Rogers and Kerry Dye. The flower show was a decided success. The Loch Norrie . and district primary school children's entries were worthy of commendation. The president offered sincere thanks to all who worked to make the show such a success. Mrs. Carr entertained members with humorous recitations. Flowers were given to Mrs. Carr and the recipients of birthday lowers were Mrs. Cox, Airs McKenzie, Mrs. Taylor, Mrs. Millar and Miss G. Shanks. Competitions resulted:—Best vase of flowers, Mrs. Osmond 1, Mrs. W. Drinnan 2; best single bloom, Miss W. Drinnan 1, Mrs. Smith 2; novelty gift, Miss W. Drinnan 1, Mrs. W. Drinnan 2.
