RED CROSS FUNDS.
EMPIRE TOTAL MOUNTS. (Received 1 p.m.) RUGBY, January 10. The Lord Mayor's Red Cross fund for sick and wounded in the war totals £909,999. Tlio National Commissioner of t!»«"» Canadain Red Cross Society, which collected nearly £1,000,000 since the war, has left for France to present £."300 to the French Red Cross from subscribers to the Canadian Red Cross funds in Quebec. That donation was largely from French-speaking Canadians.
