Peter had come over from across the road, and they all prepared for a marvellous time. About seven o'clock the real party fun began, but it was soon interrupted by some sweet carol singing outside. Aunt Anne rushed out to seo a group of village children. "Come right in," she said. "We're having a party and perhaps you'll sing us some carols inside." In they all came and the little draw-ing-room had never been so full. What a time they had! Aunt Annette, with a bright red paper hat on her head, and iier hair all askew, was having the time of her life. David and Linda voted it the best Christmas ever. Ono thing they particularly noticed was that in the very middle of the in bio was a bright blue candle.
