MT. EDEN SWIMMERS.
FIRST CARNIVAL OF SEASON. AUCKLAND TITLE OX TUESDAY'S PROGRAMME. The Mount Eden Amateur Swimming and Life-saving Club will open the season with a carnival at Rellevue Road on Tiles | day night. An attractive programme has j been arranged. This includes the .">0 yards Auckland championship, and with P Ilanan. the holder of the title. A. Paseoe 15. J. O'Connor, A. C. Hagiiall and I'. Herringtou (a speedy intermediate) taking part a great race should result. Another exciting event on the programme will be the yards inter-club rela> championship, which has drawn teams from Mount Eden (-), Pun son by and Waite* Handicap events have,drawn good fields for the supporting programme. Interest is also being taken in the A grade water polo match between Ponsonby A and Mount Eden, Roth teams will be at full strength, and a fine game should be witnessed.
