WAIKATO FIXTURE. NOMINATIONS CLOSE FRIDAY. Distributing £5000 during tlic two clays, the Waikato Racing Club has arranged a most attractive programme for'the summer meeting to be held at To Rapa on Saturday and Monday. February 17 and in. The chief event is the Storey Memorial, of £700, one mile and three furlongs, to be run on the opening day, and on the second day the principal- item is the Yercoc Handicap, of £500, one mile and a quarter. The open sprint on the first day carries a stake of £400, and on the second day £350, while the races for two-year-olds are each worth £250. No event carries less than £200 in prize money. for all events close on Friday next. January 26. at 5 p.m., with the secretary, Mr. E. H. O'Meara, P.O. Box 351, Hamilton, or with Messrs. Bloinfield and Co., Auckland.
