MR. R. L. McILROY.
(From Our Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. After many years' association with the teaching profession, Mr. Robert Logan Mellrov lias died at Hamilton at the age «>f 07. Mr. Mcllroy began teaching in 1S!)0 as an assistant master at the Sydenham School, Christchurch, and later taught at Waitaki Boys' High School. St. John's College, Auckland, and Co Vial School, Xew Plymouth. He was headmaster of the Lvtton Street and Manchester Street Schools in Fcilding, . and while in Xew Plymouth was sccrei t-ary of the Teachers' Institute. He is , survived by his widow, one son and one daughter.
