JEWISH BOY'S APPEAL. Two young ex-residents of Budapest called at the "Star" ofilec to-day i:i reference to the paragraph In yesterday's issue concerning a Jew in Budapest who had written to Messrs. Newman Bros., of Nelson, appealing for work. One of the visitors said {hat the Jewish hoy in question was his hest friend. J lie caller said he had got a permit to reside in New Zealand and had endeavoured to get one for his friend in Budapest, hut could not do so until the latter had obtained a job in the eountrv.
