Passengers From Stranded
Liner. TRANSHIPPED IN LUGGERS. (Received 1.30 p.m.) DARWIN", this day. Forty-five Darwin residents, who were passengers on the Burns, Philp liner Merkur (.">o*>2 tons), which is stranded on the Northern Territory coast, have been brought to Darwin in another Hums, Philp steamer, after lieing transhipped from the stranded liner in
pearling luggers.
Twenty-five overseas passengers re mained aboard the Merkur.
