Value* for dairies were very satisfactory for the period of the 1 Hcason. A full yarding of beef, boner and 1 store cows caino forward, with competition steady for prime beef, but values I slightly lower. Boner mid store cows sold readily at late rates. The pig pens were tilled to capacity, the yarding consisting chielly of fats. Bacon prices were equal ' to YV'cMfield rates on Wednesday, and ' pork nold at recent quotations. Stores • and wenners came forward in excess of ] average numbers, competition for stores bring steady, hut small weaners were dull * of sale possibly on account of the | decreasing supply of milk.
