BASEBALL PROTEST.
OTAHUHU ENTRY ACCEPTED,
As the result of its protest against the exclusion of an Auckland team from the St. Mary's Cup competition, the Auckland Basebntl Association yesterday received advice that the New Zealand council had altered its previous decision. The reversal of the decision means that Auckland's representative, the Otahtihu team, will play at Wellington on January 27, when both the North Isl.ind and Dominion finals will be decided.

At the jinln to be staged by the Auckland Raseb.ill Association lit Fnwlds Park to-morrow four diamonds will be in use during the afternoon, with -Pioneers. Mormons. Otiihiiliu, Y.M.C.A. and the Mount Albert tennis striving for supremacy. There should he plenty of thrills. An added attraction will be games between teams from the ladies' association.
