ASSAULTED STRANGERS.
IMPRISONMENT IMPOSED. "It's time you were punished,' , said Mr. J. Morlinff, S.M.. to-day in sentencing Donald John McLcod, packer, aged 20, to a month's imprisonment. McLeod, who appeared on two charges of assault and one of using ol>scene language, said he didn't remember anything of the incidents. Last night in Queen Stre?t the accused had walked over to a man who had entered a car ;:nd struck him. He then walked along the street and struck another man. In neither caee had he any apparent reason for doing *o, and both men were strangers to him. In the second case he ueed objectionable language.
