PRE-WAR LEVEL MAINTAINED.

WELLINGTON", Tuesday.
The intention of the Government to maintain th-e net price of superphosphate at the pre-war level until ithe end of July at least was announced to-nigM by the Minister* ©f Agriculture, the Hon. W. Lee Martin. He eaid ample provision had been made to safeguard future supplies. "I am at [present discuesinf? with representatives of manufacturers a line ot action whidi is designed to obviate the necessity for an advance in prices, said the Minister, "and it ie the Government's intention to maintain the net' price of superphosphate at the pre-war level at least until the end of July. It ie hoped this decision will encourage still wider development of top-dreeeing, with resultant increases in the volume of exportable primary products."
