On Friday morning the Mateon liner Monterey will arrive at Auckland from San Francisco and ports, en route to Sydney. She carries 35 first-class and 41 eabin-claee passengers, who will disembark at Auckland. In addition, there are 2.10 through jwuasenge.rs. The mail quota for Auckland totals IS2S bags. When the vessel sails for Sydney she will carry another 150 passengers who are embarking here. Waimarino, Union Company steamer, arrived from Wellington early this morning and berthed at (Jentral " Wharf. She will sail on Saturday for Lyttelton direct. Kakapo, owned by the same company, arrived from Wesfcport to-day. There was no work on the Onchunga wharves to-day because, of the local watersider*' picnic, which was to be held at Tui Ulen. Kartigi left Wcetport at 3 o'clock this morning for Napier and Auckland. (U.S.S. Co.) Omana witt leave Greymouth on Satixrday for Auckland; (TJ.S.S. Co.) Kaimai, Westport Coal Company'* chartered eteam'ef, from Westport, has been delayed and is now expected tomorrow.
