Beef was yarded in average quantity on the Westfield fat stock market to-day. There" was little alteration in values during the sale, but quotations were V per 1001b lower than realised at last week's sale, extra choice ox selling up to 36/ per 1001b.

Fat cattle were offered in average numbers. The demand was fairly steady, but cows and heifers were not so keenly sought after, and values were inclined to ease on last week's sale. A line of Iβ ateers from slr. Ben Reed averaged £13 11/4. Another line of Iβ steers from Mr. George Foster, Cambridge, made up to £14 17/0, this being the outstanding price of the sale.
