WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist Issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Moderate to fresh winds between south and east. Weather cloudy and mild, with *ome occasional showers. Seas moderate to rather rough in the east and slight in the west. An anti-cyclone covers the Dominion, but a slight disturbance is developing to the east of the Auckland peninsula. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south-east, moderate; sea, moderate; weather, overcast, with misty rain; visibility, poor; barometer, falling.
