AT WORK AGAIN.
MR. SAVAGE'S EFFICIENCY. TRIBUTE BY HON. P. FRASER. Speaking at the civic welcome extended to him in the Town Hall concert chamlber this afternoon, the Minister of Education and Health, the Hon. P. Fraser, referred to the restoration to health of the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. .T. Savage, and cleared up "the slight misapprehension that seemed to prevail" as to his own position at the present time. "I am pleased to say that although I left New Zealand as acting-Prime Minister. I returned fo find the Prime Minister in good health," he said. "During last Friday and again yesterday." added Mr. Fraser. "the Prime Minister sat with us in Cabinet during the whole day attending to the slightest detail of Cabinet work, and doing it as efficiently m ever he has done, and as efficiently as anyibody could do it. I think the country should know that Mr. Savage ha* again taken up work of hie verj high and responsible office."
