British motor factories exported 300 vehicles each working 1 day in November. Exjwrts to Australia, India, Burma, Portugal and Uruguay during the iirst three months of the war were alj records. Exports to Uruguay increased OoG per cent, to the Argentine 372 per cent, and to Australia 31 per cent.
The Society of Motor Manufacturers points out that these increases were made despite a serious reduction of consumption of new vehicles in New Zealand and Scandinavia, but New Zealand's decision to purchase only in the United Kingdom should be a great benefit in the near future.
