FLOOD DAMAGE.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HOKITIKA, Monday. Heavy rain caused considerable flood damage in South Westland. A breach in the Little Wanganui protective works caused several weeks ago by a flood was further widened and the Big Wanganui district was severely flooded, cutting off access to the dairy factory, boats being utilised. Roads further south also suffered considerable damage.
