LATE NEWS.
WEATHER FORECAST. FOR CITY AMD PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist Issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Light to moderate south-westerly winds predominating. A few isolated showers sre likely at first, but the weather will be mainly fair to fine and mild. Seas smooth on the east coast and slight to moderate on ths west coast. A weak disturbance is moving eastwards off the North Island, and pressure is relatively uniform over the whole Dominion. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south-west, moderate; sea, slight; weather, cloudy but line; visibility, good; barometer, rising.
