FALL FROM WINDOW.
HOSPITAL COOK'S FATE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HASTINGS, Monday. Mies May Lydia Roehefort, aged' 53, cook at the Napier Public Hospital, was found seriously injured on the asphalt at the foot of a two-storey buildin" at the institution at 5.30 a.m. to-day. °She died within a few minutes. It is assumed that Miss Roehefort fell from the window of the staff sitting room on the second floor, but there was nothing to indicate the cause of the accident. ' < An inquest was opened this afternoon and adjourned sine die.
