BBATt SVROLA. TRIALS AT TAKANINI. The inside grase track, on which the poles were 20 feet out, provided good going nt Tukanini this morning. Proud Fox, Namara, Msxain, Orelio and Gay Mis* were among those to please most. Proud Po* (Begtilcy) and Sunola (Smith' jumped away at the milo post, Sunoli taking the lead early and running the fire halt' mile in 54a. They finished the tasl ill 1.40 1-5, with Proud Fox half a lengtl in front. Namara (Logan) coverec about nine furlongs, the last half mil< occupying 1.40 and the last half mile it 55*. Ho was assisted over the last sever by Hunting Be« (Gray). Glen Connel (Pell) traversed five furlongs in 1.3 2-5s whilo Palustre (Walters) ran her last three furlongs in 435. Wong Fti (Burgess] sprinted three furlongs in 39*. High Set (MeMinn) was t*'o lengths in front ol Anion (Cur Wen) at the finish of six fur longs in 1.10 3-5, High Sea worked well Vcnturo (MeMinn) got to the end of t similar distance in 1.25. Maxam (Cleaver) hit out pleasingly while running six furlongs in 1.10 1-5, the last five in 1.2 3-5. She went very well. .Tack Tat (Mellroy) and Te Kawiti (Clark) ran five furlongs in 1.5 2-5, being assisted oyer the last three by Agrieoln (Cnker), this portion taking 38s. Pacifist (Kingi) sprinted two furlongs in 255. This is the AcreM iss Vera colt ,in A, Tinker's stable. Ascot Bloom (Gray), Rue de Paix (Cleaver) and Norse Lady (Logan) were together at the conclusion of half a mile in 53 1-s*. after going from a standinjj start. Gay Miss (Thomson) hit out with her customary dash wllile running three furlongs in 37 3-fis, Penzance. (Cleaver) was doing her \voi+c nicely while traversing half a mile in 51s Over Hurdles. Four horses A'ere schooled separately over four fences. Duuber (Burgess), Lapuhyian (Cleaver), Bachelor King Burgess) and Inquisitor (Cleaver), all shaped well in tneir tasks, particularly Dauber. Tip Toes (Walters) showed promise for a novice while jumping one ierico twice.
