ALL QUIET IN WEST.
German Scout 'Plane Shot , Down. CREW TAKEN PRISONER. (Received 2.30 p.m.) LONDON', January 15. Both French and German war communiques report that it is quiet on the Western Front. A Paris message states that a German reconnaissance 'plane was brought down in Northern France. The three members of the crew were taken prisoner. German wireless stations were silent for some time last night. Last evening's communique stated: "Xothing of importance occurred during the day."
A German war communique said: "A Dutch aeroplane violated German territory near Nordhorn. Enemy artillery was active on the Western Front."
