BOROUGH NOTICES. gOROUGH OF NEWMARKET. SPECIAL LOAN OF £14,500. Notice is hereby given that the Newmarket Borough Council hereby proposes, at a Special Meeting to be held in the Council Chamber, Broadway, at 10.30 a.m. on FRIDAY, the 19th day of January, 194«. to consider the confirmation of the following Resolution, intended to operate as a Special Order, and passed at a Special Meeting of Council held for that purpose on Monday, the 18th day of December, 1930. viz.:—RESOLUTION. •That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Local Bodies Loans Act, 192 C, and its amendments, the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and Regulations thereunder, Section 13 of the Physical Welfare and Recreation Act, 1937. and every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Newmarket Borough Council hereby authorises the -raising of a special loan of £14,500 for the purpose of completing the construction of the Olympic Swimming Pool, including the provision of a special pool for children, the installation of a sound system and the construction of a roof over stand portion of building: that the security for such loan shall be a special rate sufficient to cover interest and sinking fund charges as required by the Local Bodies L<oans Act, 1926, and its amendments; that the currency of the loan shall be for a period of twenty (20) years: that interest be payable at a rate not exceed 41 per centum per annum and a sinking fund of not less than 31 per centum per annum established."
