The Hon. M. Justice Fair left for Wellington by the afternoon express to-day. - r
Mr. J, A. Lie, M P., arrived from Wellington by. the Limited express this morning.
Lieutenant H. H. McDonald, N.Z.S.C., who is attached to the Army Department, Hamilton, has bee a transferred temporarily to the Hopuhopu militarv camp as actmg'adjutant.
Messrs. W. L. Comrie and S. R. Cochrane, of Wellington, members of the selection committee of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, who have been interviewing- candidates in Auckland for nonnying duties, are visiting Hamilton. Sir Ernest Davis, Mayor of Auckland, as president of the Auckland Provincial atnotic Council, attended a meeting in Hamilton yesterday of South Auckland representatives. The meeting was called to consider the council's proposals for a recruiting campaign. This afternoon Sir -briieat will address a similar meeting at Tauranga. He will speak at Rotorux o-night, and at Whangarei on Saturday night.
