CENTENNIAL SHOOT.
THREE-DAY TOURNEY.
CHAMPIONSHIP TO SCCCOMBE.
The New Zealand Centennial skeet and clay target championships, conducted by the Auckland Gun Club, commenced at Panmure this morning. The meeting, which. will extend over three days, has drawn a big representation of sportsmen from the North Island, including the North Island champion, C. Thoniascn. Also among the competitors is the Hon. W. E. Parry, and the veteran. Mr. C. A. Whitney. lxesults of this morning's events are:— NEW ZEALAND CENTENNIAL SKEET CHAMPIONSHIP of 50 targets (two rounds of 25). First Round.—F. H. Sotcom.bc and A. Woodioffe, 23 targets; A. E. Robinson and D. P. North. 22; R. G. White, 21; C. Thomasen and E. Schofield, 20. Second Round. —-F. H. SeccoMvbc, 23 target*;; E. Schofield and D. P. North, 22. F. H. Seccombe won with a total of 46 out of a possible 50. First Sweep (10 targets).—A. E. Bartlett, T. W. Elliott and E. Montcith, all tied with the possible. Second Sweep (10 targets).—A. E. Bartlett, J. Dobson, T. W. Elliott, R. Allan, F. Former, R. G. Lindsay and A. Brown, tied with possible.
