WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auokland Province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Light to moderate winds between north and west. Woathor fair to cloudy and warm. Seas slight, but rising in the west. Pressure continues high in the north, while a series of westerly depressions is passing in the south. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, northerly, light; sea, smooth; weather, fine but visibility, good'; barometer, rising.
