Destroyers To Be Built At
Cockatoo Island.
THREE TRIBAL CLASS SHIPS.

MELBOURNE, this day.
Three Tribal class destroyers, which the Commonwealth decided to build, will be constructed at Cockatoo Island, Sydney. These ships will be of the latest type which has just been added to the Royal Navy. They are of 1870 tons, have eight 4.7 in guns,-and four 21in torpedo tubes. The total estimated cost is £3,521,000.
