WEATHER FORECAST.

FOR CITY AND PROVINCE.

The Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Hamilton. Kawhia and Tauranga:— Moderate to fresh west to southwest winds. A few showers still probable, but .weather for the most part fair to fine. Temperature moderate. Seas rough but decreasing on tho west coast, slight to moderate on the east. The depression over the Cook Strait area is moving slowly eastward, and pressure has risen in the north and south. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Kauraki Gulf .was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, west, fresh; sea, moderate; weather, fine but cloudy; visibility, good; barometer, rising.
