PLYMOUTH HOE'S VICTORY. V.A.T.C. MEETING. MELBOURNE, December 26. A hostile demonstration wae made againet Plymouth Hoe when he won the Hopetoun Handicap, the chief event, at the Victoria Amateur Turf Club'e meeting at Caulfield to-day. The three-year-old Aspire wae successful in the Christmas Handicap. Results:— Hopetoun Handicap of £1000. one mile and three furlongt*. —Plymouth Hoe. D.O (N. Creighton), 1: Royal Order, 7.5 (W.
