NORTHCOTE RED CROSS.
PRESENTATION OF AWARDS. The Mayoress of Nortlicote, Mrs. R. Mertin, presented 21 certificates in first aid to members of the Northcote Red Cross Society at a social evening in the Methodist Hall. A presentation of a handsome clock wa» made to Nurse May, whose marriage is taking place shortly. During the evening enjoyable items were given by Mesdames K. Wadharn, P. Minus, A. Tremain and Miss C. Sharpe. In appreciation of their assistance to the classes throughout the lectures, presentations were made to Meedames F. C. Truman, J. Hewitt, A. M. Nicholson, and to the secretary, Mrs. H. Cadness.
