The following are the postal arrangements for the holidays :— Saturdays, December 23 and 30.—A special clearance of street receivers in the city area will be made at 6 p.m. Sunday, December 24.—The usual Sunday arrangements will apply in all respects, except that the night clearance of street receivers will not be made. The special clearance from ccrtain suburban offices will be made at 3 p.m. to permit of the inclusion of letters for southern offices ex the Limited express. Monday, December 25 (Christmas Day), will be observed as a Sunday, the usual night clearance of street receivers being made. The special clearance from certain suburban offices will be made at 3 p.m. Tuesday. December 26 (Boxing Day), and Monday. January 1 (New Year's Day).— days will he observe! as close holidays.
