CHURCH FESTIVAL.

MESSAGE OF CHRISTMAS.

While many of the non-episcopal churches will confine their seasonal services to to-morrow, in the Anglican and Roman Catholic churches there will be special services ori Christmas Day. Holy Communion will be celebrated at St. Marv's Cathedral hourly from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Christmas Day. Archbishop Averill will be the celebrant at the 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. services and will be the preacher at the latter service, which w ill be broadcast. In the evening there will he a carol service and organ recital by Mr. Edgar Randal.

There will be similar morning celebrations in other Anglican churches, and in St. Paul's Church at midnight there will ib© solemn sung Eucharist with procession and blessing of the nativity crib. A number of other churches -will also celebrate Communion at midnight.
