A petition to the Privv Council of England from Iho Maoris of New Zealand. praying f„ r a consideration of alleged breache* of the Treaty of Waitangi, ha< been prepared and signed by eighty tribal represent at i ves.
Tho _ petition purports tr, lie a memorial from the canoe* of Taimii. Te Arnwti, Tnkitimn, Kura haupo, Oatea. Maf attia, Tokoma.ru and Horouta, and there, are. ten signatures to each canoe.
