LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.
Belmont-Bayawater.—The league held its children's Christmas party in St. Michael's Hall. The president, Mrs. W. Strong, welcomed parents and children. Mr. Tom McCarthy wa« Santa Claus. Mrs. Bayliss presented a troupe of children in "The Wedding of the Painted Doll'' and musical drill. Olive Corlett, Jackie Reeder, Doreen Biddle, Shirley. Silver, Doreen Stevens, Valda Hunt, Norma Treweek, Irene McCarthy gave songs and recitations.
