DAMAGES CLAIM.
BY HUSBAND AND WIFE.
INMI'KKD IX tXH.LISION. The hearing of the claim for damages totalling CI -'I'i.'i brought by Harry Andrew Mayhill, land agent, Sandringhiiui. and his wife, .lean Maria Mayhill. against .1. ,1. Craig, Ltd.. merchants, was continued before Mr. Justice Callan and a jury in, the Supreme Court to-day. Mr. F. liaigli and Mr. A. Short apjiear for the plaint ill's and Mr. K- J. Dyson for the defendant.
The plaintiffs were occupants of a cai which came into collision with one o defendant's trucks at. the intersection o Dominion Koad and Mount Albert Koai on February '28 last. Both plain! ill' sull'crcd certain injuries and claim tha the accident was due to the icegligenci of the driver of defendant's lorrv.
The defence denies negligence and contends that if there was negligence the plaintiff Mayhill by his own driving contributed to it.
'file jury visited the scene of the accident and the plaintiffs gave evidence. Medical evidence was given detailing the injuries suffered by the plaintiffs.
