OISBORNE DRIVER INJURED,

GISBORNE, this day

When his car capsized and rolled oyer twice on the Waerenga-a-hika section of the Main North highway, Mr. Frank Douglas East, aged 22, single, of Chiborne, received injuries to his h*™ B and shoulder that necessitated his removal to Cook Hospital. The vehicle moved off the crown o the road and the driver gave the wheel too short a turn to correct the fault, causing the car to overturn. Mr. East was cut by flying glass from the windshield. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels and Mr. East continued to drive it towards Gisborne. He was stopped bv the Transport Depa ment's inspector, who rendered first aia and drove Mr. £Ast to hospital-
