FROM CALCUTTA.
NEW ZEALAND CAPTAIN. Captain D. P. Malcolm, R.N.R., lis returned to Auckland from a visit t India. He was formerly harbour mast< at Calcutta, and on Bis retirement cam back to the country of his birth, Ke Zealand, and settled in Auckland. Las April the Imperial naval authority made, a request to Captain Malcolm t return to Calcutta for certain navi duties. Having completed his wor there, he has come back to Aucklar to await further instructions. Captain Malcolm was apprenticed i the barque Royal Tar, of the Crai Line, sailing out of Auckland.
