BOY FATALLY SHOT.
(By Teleffroph—Pres ; Association.) TIMARU, Monday. A five-year-old boy. Denis John Cromin, died in hospital tliis afternoon as tho result of a wound in the abdomen received from tho accidental discharge of a rifle. The boy, with his parents, was visiting friends in the country and while the boy was being shown the rifle it accidentally discharged. An operation proved unsuccessful.
