WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoOA the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga. Light, variable winds. Weather fine and mild. Seas smooth. An anti-cyclone covers the North Island, while a deep depression is centred to the west of Stewart Island. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south-west, light; sea, smooth; weather, fine and clear; visibility, good; barometer, steady.
