LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
PRIMARY SCHOOLS' CHAMPIONS. Primary schools' winners--announced at last night's meeting of the Auckland Rugby League :—(Senior. Newton ; knock-out, (Richmond ; intermediate, Ellerslle; knock-out, Ponsonby; champion of champions, Ponsonby ; junior and knock-out, Green Lane. The senior and Intermediate representative teams will travel to Hamilton on October 21. The crowning of the Richmond Club's rjominee. Miss Audrey Dick, as queen of the recent carnival, will take place sit the Junior and seven-a-aide boys' tournament at Oarlaw Park on Saturday at 3 p.m. A imation of condolence was parsed to Mr. and Mrs. W. Lumley on "the tragic death I of their twin daughters.
