THE QUEEN'S RANK.
HEADS WOMEN'S SERVICES. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LOXDON, September 15. A communique from the Ministry of Information says the Queen now heads the women's defence services. The King appointed her Commander-in-Chief of the Women's Royal Naval Service, the Auxiliary Territorial Service and the Women's Auxiliary Air Force.
