CENTENNIAL CHARGES.
AT AUCKLAND DOMAIN.
(By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. Under the 'Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Bill, introduced into the House of Representatives yesterday, the Auckland City Council is empowered to make a charge up to 2/ for admission to the Auckland Domain on an unlimited number of days next year. The maximum charge for admission on a limited number of days at present is 1/. During the Centennial celebrations it is anticipated that it will be necessary to use the Domain on numerous occasions. The bill absolves the council from the requirements of advertising the prices to be charged for admission to the Domain for at least two consecutive weeks. Another clause validates the agreement between the Auckland Harbour Board and the Crown for the establishment at Mechanics' Bay of a ase the trans-Tasman air service. . hor .
