ENGINE TROUBLE.
EXCURSION TRAIN LATE.
As a result of engine trouble which occurred just after it left Taihape. the special excursion train carrying Rugby football enthusiast# from Wellington to Auckland was about two and a half hours late. The train wos scheduled to leave Wellington at 7.40 last night and reach Auckland at 11.1.5 a.m. to-day. It. was composed of eleven carriages and the ginmU' van, and carried 500 passengers.
The train will lisvc sgnin for Wellington nt n..-> p.lit tomorrow, arriving lit Wellington ut C.3j on Monday morning.
