RISE IN MUTTON AND BEEF. FAT SHEEP UP 2/ A HEAD. (From Our Own Correspondent.) FEILDING, Friday. \ alues were very linn in all sections of the Feilding sale to-day with u rise taking place in the case of mutton and beef. The following are the values: — Fat Sheep.—For mutton competition w,k very keen and an advance of about 2/ per head oil last week was shown. A good proportion of the ewes were shorn, and these appeared to be the cheapest sheep. Extra prime woolly ewes, 20/10 to 28/3: prime. 24/ to 25/10: average sorts, 22/ to 23, 8; lighter, 17/ to 20/; prime shorn ewes, 17/ to 19/7; extra prime wethers, 30/ to 31/0; prime, 27/ to 28/9; average sorts, 20/; lighter. 17 9 (shorn) to 25/13; prime hoggets. 21/3 to 22/8: second quality, 17,9 to 19/3; unfinished, 12, 3 to 15.'.

Store Sheep. —A splendid sale took place tor hoggets, with best sorts iu keen demand. There was a heavy penning of ewe hoggets, but all lines were sold.
